Hello, After more than 4 months, I have taken my Freerunner back to life 8-) I followed the mailinglists and bugreports, so I knew what I can expect.
Because my Freerunner is a **very** special one, it won't run kernel 2.6.29. Kernels which are compiled after the month Februari won't work. I tried to explain this on the mailinglists, but no luck :-( . But now I can choose two different kernels! 2.6.31 and 2.6.32 and I decided to use the 2.6.32 kernel. Many thanks to mrmoku who compiled this kernels. I installed SHR on my micro-sd card and copied the kernel to it. Using the points in the readme and the script I got many things working. I can make phone calls, add contacts, send SMS, play music etc BUT... 1. I have no wireless lan. There is no eth0 available in ifconfig -a and I can't switch it on. dmesg say nothing about ar6000 (wlan), modprobe ar6000 gives no information on commandline or dmesg 2. Bluetooth isn't working, is it build in or are there modules 3. WSOD, please please try to fix this :-) These are the issues I found, I mostly need wlan, then fixing the WSOD and then bluetooth. If you want more information, please say what information you want.
