I ended up puting the tar archive into the microSD, the chip into
another FR and un-taring it there. It boots fine 131 and I can SSH into
it:
root@om-gta02:~# cat /etc/shr-version
SHR 2013.07-next-20140105

I must familiarize myself with the new elfe user interface and the concept
of moving the icons around (is there some documentation or only the
short movies on the Wiki or Youtube?)
