Hi all,
I'd recommend to generate a stable image by means of feature freeze and
only fixing bugs.
IMHO the actual process of development versions and milestones is not
useful for people like me that are really interested in SHR but need a
starter image that provides basic OS, GUI, and HW support.
What do you think?

The problem is that SHR is a distro, not a program. It gets bugfixes by
moving to new versions of programs (which also include new features).
The libraries that are specific to SHR have only been getting bugfixes
lately.
You will have to wait until somebody fixes the USB ethernet or do it
yourself if you got the time and/or ability :)
I spent a little time with this. It seems to be an issue with kernel
config? I compared configs between SHR and the goldelico kernel (usb
network works with that config), but eventually I changed all the
options to match the SHR kernel and usb-net still worked. Could there
have been some intermittent build issue where the gadget drivers were
left over from an older build or something?
