Not a big issue, but worth fixing :) I used it more earlier today, after downsampling my ogg files and converting them to mp3 to see if it works better.
First, i had a hard time trying to update my song database : i didn't notice at first that you have to select the folder containing your music, and not *enter* it. So i thought that maybe some files weren't imported because they were badly tagged after my conversion : which was wrong. Maybe you could strip the song path to the dirname of the selected path? After that i was able to listen music for around 1 hour without issues :) c_c wrote: > > > KaZeR wrote: >> >> I had a few issues when playing back : i have some ogg files which don't >> play fully (i get a cannot stream to bluetooth error, iirc) and i also >> had intone completely hanged a few times (it may be related to a >> connection issue to my headset, but i haven't narrowed it down yet). >> > Well, the bluetooth part is experimental at this stage. I have been able to pinpoint it : play a song, when you get 'cannot stream to bluetooth', if you try to play something else it will freeze (have to kill -9). If you go in options, select headset, and start playing back, it will work fine. Another little idea : something streaming to BT fails because you are doing something else at the same time. In that case, mplayer will freeze a few milliseconds then retry playback and usually it will be fine (you'll hear a small gap in the song). With intone, it fails as soon as it cannot stream, and you have to go to settings, change to headset, relaunch the song and usually jump back to your listening position. Would it be possible to make at least a few tries? We need a limit (like 5 tries per song for example) to avoid really bad streaming. Also, i tried the intone binary you posted on the other ML to debug BT controls : but i get nothing in the terminal, where i would expect xev events keys. Do you have any idea of what' i'm doing wrong? c_c wrote: > > Thanks for the reports and the kind words.
