yes, latest Qualee is SHR based, but please read the dev's post on his blog - he is planning to move back to debian after fso is upgraded in debian. i am not sure if larger image is necessary, but larger repos probably yes. Having for example Qualee and Litephone in repos would allow users to remove illume and install Qualee, choose different phone manager.... Yes, like in typical linux distro. But then where would it stop then - each user would want a different window manager etc... so perhaps at least some options would be good. Rakshat, i think this is kind of connected to you your recent email about compatibility of different programs with SHR - unless people take care (read the source is built by shr), some programs might be compatible one day and not compatible another day (look at intone-video, the latest bin still requires one to make symlinks to e. libs (-ver-pre-svn-01, -ver-pre-svn-02)). I am not sure what advantages has the oe.dev branch, my knowledge is too limited in this area. The same for angstrom repos - would we be able to be compatible?...
