Good, I'm not alone then, there's at least a handful of us who have had
it. :)
I've tried 2 different cards: the original 512MB that came with the FR
and my C4 8GB Kingston SDHC. Doesn't seem to make a difference.
I found 2 related tickets on SHR trac: #1743 and #2078.
I've tested with kernel parameters glamo_mci.sd_drive=2 and
glamo_mci.sd_max_clk=5000000 but the problem persists, maybe a little
less prone to happen.
It does however change the end result; the symptom on the LCD is
different (lower frequency?). There are horizontal bars coming down from
top to bottom.
The problem does not appear if there are no sdcard accesses, but running
a distro from the card is impossible to me.
And even using Tangogps with just the "maps" folder on the card will
trigger it after a little while.
I guess it is another of those HW-dependent issues that varies from
phone to phone and probably goes away with a larger cap in the right
place... :)

When executing the OS from the card, it locks up the system (no further
non-cached files cann be accessed).
When executing the OS from flash, the problem goes away on suspend but
occurs again later.
The trigger is sdcard activity.
Is there a ticket for this problem?

I suffered from it, and I sometimes had the same sympthoms on the screen just
before FR lockup and SD card corruption
Try with suggested parameters, or try with 512 MB included card.
I have put a new card on my FR (16 GB C6 trascend), and all problems are gone.
