My first idea is: how big is the image? Because the 1973 has only sth less then 
60 Mbyte of space. And because noone of the SHR devs has a 1973 this machine 
isn't well maintained. There are some things that have to be change before a 
running image can be build. But for this the help of Neo 1973 users is needed.

I would suggest you to join the #openmoko-cdevel channel @ freenode, then we 
can help you much faster. But at first you have to be able to flash the image.
