I agree somewhat, but it is really useful to see the new SMS /
missed call icons all together when I unsuspend the phone.
I think you will anyway - the backlight comes on, and you see.
If shr-today disappear, then this takes some time so you
get to see the missing calls. Or maybe, remove shr today
only if there are no missing calls or new sms, That way
you know there were nothing new if you don't get shr-today.
