I disagree on this one. Old nokias (also new ones?) could, I'm not sure
about the Android,
but I'm pretty sure the iPhone does not.

Anyhow, sim card handling is slow and annoying, we can cache all of the sim
card in opimd when we launch it,
but that will just slow everything down, and won't be that useful. As said
before,
I don't see any reason to use the sim card (other than import/export) unless
you use more than 1 phone,
but I don't mind discussing this in another dedicated topic.
