here are the commands to get a pdf file of the siesta manual
1. latex siesta.tex
this will produce siesta.dvi file which can be
read by the command xdvi siesta.dvi
2. dvips siesta.dvi
this will produce a file siesta.ps which can be read
by evince or ghostview or kghostview
3. ps2pdf siesta.ps
this will produce a file siesta.pdf
