Two limits for energy range should be set: one is Fermi energy (Ef) of your system as determined from SCF run and second is energy below or above Ef. The energy window is usually +/- 2 eV for STM images. Regards Ruslan Zhachuk 2010/7/26 郭振东 <[email protected]> Thank you very much ,Would you like to tell me how to specify the energy range? I think you didn't specify energy range correctly for LDOS, so you got empty file. LDOS files are usually big (megabytes). Regards Ruslan Zhachuk 2010/7/25 郭振东 <[email protected]> I have got the File *.LDOS,but I cannot get the STM image.Would you like to give me some help? Thank you very much! I will send my *.LDOS to you! At 2010-07-23 19:02:31,"Руслан Жачук" <[email protected]> wrote: WSxM can be freely downloaded from www.nanotec.es plstm is in Utility folder of siesta package. Compilation is straightforward. For instructions on how to generate LDOS file look in Siesta manual. Ruslan 2010/7/23 郭振东 <[email protected]> Thank you very much! Would you like to give me an example ? At 2010-07-23 11:24:38,"Руслан Жачук" <[email protected]> wrote: First you should produce LDOS file by Siesta. Then use WSxM to make constant-current image or plstm to make constant-height image. Regards Ruslan Zhachuk 2010/7/23 郭振东 <[email protected]> Hello everyone Would you like to tell me how to get the STM image by siesta ? I will very thankful!
