Now I am working hard on the calculation of optical property of Graphene by
using the the optical module of siesta.
But I don't quite understand the parameter----'Optical.PolarizationType&
Optical.Vector':
"*Optical.PolarizationType  (string): *This option has three possible values
that represent the
type of polarization to be used in the calculation. The options are
polarized, which implies
the application of an electric field in a given direction, unpolarized, which
implies the
propagation of light in a given direction, and polycrystal.  In the case of
the first two
options a direction in space must be specified for the electric field or
propagation using
the Optical.Vector data block.
Default value: polycrystal
*Optical.Vector (data block):* This block contains 3 numbers that specify
the vector direction for either the electric field or light propagation, for
a polarized or unpolarized calculation,respectively. A typical block might
look like:

1,if I set 'Optical.PolarizationType polarized',How should make sure the
direction of wave propagation?
For instance,if I set 'Optical.Vector':

what is the direction of wave propagation?y direction or z direction or a
direction just parallel to y_z plane?
2,To be more specific, If I put monolayer of graphene in the x_y plane, and
I want a polarized TE  wave vertically incident on graphene plane,ie the
propagation of TE  wave is parallel to z direction,How should I set '
Optical.PolarizationType&Optical.Vector or other parameters' ?
What about TM wave incidence?
