Dear colleagues, We would like to announce the upcoming workshop for TranSiesta, TBtrans and sisl, which will run at the Technical University of Denmark in Lyngby in the week of November 9th - November 13th 2026. The workshop will cost 250 EUR which will be used to cover a workshop dinner and all lunches and coffee breaks.

The TranSiesta + TBtrans framework allows full non-equilibrium Green function calculations. Participants will learn about the intuitive nature of tight-binding applications and also how it overlaps with the TBtrans and TranSIESTA outputs for post-processing. We require that participants have a prior, basic knowledge of solid-state physics, density functional theory (DFT), and hands-on experience with SIESTA or similar DFT codes. The school will consist of lectures and hands-on sessions where experts will be available for discussion and guidance.
