I hate to be a party pooper, but this is a public list and I'm about 90%
sure that's, well, illegal or at best in contravention of the liscensing
terms. Actually, I happen to own a fully liscened copy of Partition
Magic 3.0 it is a decent program, if a touch overpriced. I understand
that version 4.0 supports resizing & managing ext2 partitions. I wonder
if I can get a discounted upgrade from version 3.0...? Anyway, though I
haven't had any problems w/ version 3.0, I'm not sure I'd trust it to do
a resize of any of my ext2 partitions without comprehensive backups on
hand. Does anyone have any experience with PM 4.0 and Linux? Of
course... an open source alternative would be better ... anyone know of
those? I heard that one was in the works but not yet even in beta
stage. Also, I apologize in advance if any part of the content of this
post is not intelligent or relevant enough to any particular readers.
