>Fear the Future, fear the MIS future. thank god the CS department has a strong investment and continuing reliance on unix. thanks to linux, i am no longer fearful that i will ever be required to take an MS-based job. back when i started being a unix geek, i was sad to think that it would all come to naught as unix lost market share to windows...but no more. the FUD campaign will go on in MIS culture across the country, and hell, let them have MSware, cos i sure don't want it =). may the best man win.. on a personal note, the business school in general have been utter morons about anything unix in all my work-related dealings with them. larry liebrock (sp?) in particular is a big cheese in their IT department, and is utterly clueless in matters of unix/linux, and how NT compares. if you ever have to deal with him, you might mention www.ntbugtraq.com =) (he claims linux is 100 times as insecure as NT cos the source is out there. i claim i could snarf his password with one of 5 utils on that web site, and he'd have a helluva time busting my ssh session to do the same). *makes the sign of the cross towards the MBA and moves on living a happy productive life in the land of Unix* --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Send administrative requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
