I know I've posted this before, and I've already done what I was told
last time. But the difference is last time I was using RH5.1 and now I'm
using 5.0. The problem is the fonts look all blocky and nasty. In my
XF86Config file in /etc/X11 there is a line with .../75dpi:unscaled.
That fixed it using RH5.1, but it doesn't help in 5.0...The current
FontPath lies are as such: (<path>= /usr/lib/X11/fonts)
FontPath <path>/75dpi
FontPath <path>/100dpi
FontPath <path>/misc
FontPath <path>/75dpi:unscaled
FontPath <path>/100dpi:unscaled
FontPath <path>/Type1
FontPath <path>/Speedo
It doesn't help where the 75dpi and 100dpi lines are.
On a good note I did, for the first time, install a newer kernel!
Noticed a file System.map-<kernel version> in the /boot directory and
put the freshly built one in there, don't know if that's what fixed it
though. I couldn't find a new module-info-<kernel version>
anywhere....What does that one do?
