PINE configuration on RH 5.2

i've got a linux box whose users' files have to be backed up regularly. so
far in archiving /home, i seem to be grabbing all user files except the
inbox for pine. the comment line in .pinerc says the normal UNIX default
path for the inbox is /usr/spool/mail/$USER, but i don't have a /spool
subdirectory in /usr, and default settings are being used. any ideas?
