Hi,
I am buying a pc from Dell and I did some research on hardware compatibility. But
just want to make sure that it's really compatible, I'd like some suggestions or
comments from more experienced linux people.
1) video card: NVIDIA Riva 128 ZX. I checked on XFree home page. It supports Riva 128
based card but I need to use SVGA server.
2) sound card: Turtle Beach Montego. I couldn't find any linux support for this sound
card. So, I'm thinking about buying one from Creative Labs instead.
3) DVD. I also couldn't find any support for DVD. But I can use it as a CD-ROM by
using the driver for ATAPI interface.
I really appreciate any comments.
