Well I was just talking to those nice people.. thing is you have to get an
account with them. To get an account, you have to be a reseller.. or
something.. ahh there is the key.. or something. As long as you have a tax
exempt card, you can get in. Maybe ACM, Siglinux, or IEEE-CS, or all of us..
should get an account, and work from there. Then if you want some cool
hardware, you go to our web-page, point, click, bring us money, and wham you
get quality hardware. This sounds like work.. wait it is! There are a few
problems with such a undertaking. UT may frown on it, and string us all up by
our arses. If hardware is faulty out of the box (happens more than you
think), someone has to run and get replacements (North Lamar past 183).
Sounds like work to me.. and since I can already go, I don't really care, but
it would be an adventure.
Or I could buy it, and give it to you.. at a tiny mark-up for my time. :)
