yeah, I should have worded it better, the nice white bar that says your
working directory and such info is printed on the same line as the
command prompt, so it gives me the whit bar, then what I type is printed
over it, then the whir bar is reprinted over the command line, and so
on. Some, but not all, of the output (welcome messages, directory
listings) is also printed on the same line as the command prompt. I
think I'm just going to download the source.
