>From what I know LinuxPPC uses either the 2.1.x kernel series or the 2.2.x
kernel series, at least when running on PCI Mac hardware, so that may be a
consideration in your test. Also, is this one of the platinum G3s or the
newer blue and white G3s? LinuxPPC will run on the former, but not the
latter.
