hi guys (and april) *heh*
does anyone on the list have any experience with buying / using sgi Irix machines?
i'm somewhat of a graphical artist, but i had to drop 3D Studio MAX and friends when
i adopted Linux, from what i hear of sgi and Irix i can have the best of both worlds;
robust 3d design but still the frills as well as the sanity of a UNIX.
if the cost of hardware isn't too staggering i'd like to look into getting into Irix.
i need
some resources though, like some wholesale hardware dealers for starters, and someone
who has been down this path before and willing to help me out a little.
