here is my setup
Debian 2.1 --> 192.168.10.1 this is my gateway. I have IP masquarading
running on this machine and connected to UT.
then I have several other machine, a RH 5.2, Win98, Debian 2.1 connected
to the hub. what I want to do is set up dhcpd on the gateway,
192.168.10.1...
however, dhcpd is not responding to connection request..
when I start dhcpd with -d -f flag,
I saw something like:
listening on 192.168.10.0 network...
however, it never respond to any request for dhcp. (I used tcpdump and saw
a lot of request for dhcp or bootp from the 95 machine..)
then I tried to setup the dhcpd on the RH box, which has a fix IP (for
now) of 192.168.10.100, with the same package, same dhcpd.conf file..
works great...so...anybody has any idea?
