We had RR in my old house, but I don't think we ever managed to get fixed
IPs. Everything else worked fine (i.e. ip-forwarding, etc.), and we were
able to hold on to addresses for quite a while. However, I hear (these are
as-yet-unsubstantiated rumors) that service is beginning to degrade in
some areas.
