more repeaters is the normal answer. Like cell phones, put up
more cell towers.

If someone hogs to much for two long, they will have to come up with
something. My hope is they allow some 'significant bandwidth' use
for a while before they stifle the user or start charging more.

Yes it is!
I asked some folks in Houston about similar access, and they started
talking $800/month for a T1 equivalent, and all I really want is a
ADSL equivalent (or a little better :) for $50 to $60 per month or
so.

That is why I asked to see who has bee using it :) ... it is pretty
enticing
even with the unknowns! :)
