Now this was applicable to the 2.0.x kernel . there was something called
pnp4kernel patch that I used to use with those kernels. I dont know
whether it was incorporated into the main kernel or not , but it got my
roommates sb16 pnp with usr pnp working ( obviously used isapnp tools
also )
