I have an ide burner and have tried to kill it during burning and never
have. I had setiathome, netscape and nsmail, Wordperfect, BitchX and
some others running and have gotten good burns. I always put the image
on hd first. No disk to disk copy.

If I could just burn Music cds, Things would be much better.

Your mileage will vary.
