Opening myself up to screams of, "Oh, the poor unenlightened fool...", I
want to find out some stuff about Linux.
I'm a student and therefore I'm here to learn, so I'll bite the bullet to
put this out there.
I'm new to this UNIX / Linux stuff. I know what it is and how it started,
but thats about it.
Is it possible to use this OS on a single PC?
Why would I want to use it instead of/with Windows? (I know I'm asking for
trouble asking this question!)
What are its capabilities?
Whats all the fuss about?
How can I get involved with the SIG?
