yep, there's that damn rpm popping up again. doesn't anyone
ever use the src anymore!?! i said i didn't want to use apt
(or dpkg, the debian-rpm). i'll research it a little more, the
.../glibc-2.1.2/FAQ clearly forecasts compatibility issues with
more things than i feel like fixing. i'll probably wait the extra
couple months and go with the new debian, it just bothers me
to avoid addressing this for fear of fucking up my box.
