that happened to me on my desktop ... when it ran pump to get the ip
addy, it always froze ... i could <CTRL>-C it and my ip addy would be
all set, but i didn't want to do that every time ... so i went and got
dhcpcd ... ran it ... and it worked great ... this isn't the UT network
(it's the college park - castilian LAN) ... and my computer's probably a
little fruity, but maybe this might help ... (c:
