Are you insane? Perl is NOT primarily an OOP language, the OOPyness of
Perl was an afterthought for instances where you NEED it, but it is not
the primary feature of the language. Any major OOP project manager would
never use Perl for it.
Speaking of which, is there an easier way to retrieve the IP of a machine
from within a script, other than call ifconfig and extracting it from the
output?
