NSI has nothing to do it, domainmonger.com is a Tucows/OpenSRS reseller.
The registrar could be a problem if they haven't updated the root servers
to point queries for your domain to the granite canyon name servers.
However, a.root-servers.net lists nolansown.com as being served by
ns1.granitecanyon.com and ns2.granitecanyon.com so this isn't the problem.

I had the problem with Granite Canyon - I updated my zone last Friday and
the changes still haven't shown up despite getting confirmations from ns1
and ns2 and nothing showing up on the zone rejects list. Granite Canyon is
somewhat unreliable at times. Most likely there is some problem with ns1
and they will fix it when they have time.

There is probably not much you can do about it except wait for them to fix
it or use a more reliable commercial service. You might want to check out
easydns.com. They offer regular DNS only service for 24.95/year and
secondary service for 14.95/year. Their secondary service is a pretty good
deal as they also provide a backup MX.
