Jump.net has a pretty good service. Newest service has mod_perl,
PHP 3.0 (4.0 soon), Apache 1.3.11 with access to logs, SSI, MySQL
(I think it's an extra charge), email addresses like you want
with various plans for disk space. Check out http://www.jump.net/hosting.html
for details. The serving platform is SPARC/Solaris. You get
a free shell account (ssh or telnet) with the service but it isn't actually
on the machine that's hosting the web pages - it is the same platform
though and your web files are NFS mounted.
