    that is insane!  ($200) I was just quoted from outer.net here in Austin:  5
static IP, 128kbps upstream, 1.5mbs downstream = = $79 a month!  (fits your "not
like it would get tons of traffic" spec, unless you were going to be running a
FTP server or X to some distant place)   Not like you are going to get better
upstream from Roadrunner, or any garantee of such like with DSL.  When I
applied, they didn't balk at the fact that I told them that I would be running
my own two DNS servers and several domains.  What package was it that you were
almost conned into with SWB?  SWB Enhanced DSL (home plan) is not over $79/month
and they offer static everything.  As far are roadrunner and hosting, good luck,
the pipe from them is finite and the subscriptions are getting quite numerous.
I would reconsider DSL, you will be happier IMHO.
