APC works like a charm.. I got the little Smart-UPS
500, and it will keep my "big box" - 4 SCSI drives, tape, 2 case fans - up
for about 25 minutes. If I turn off the monitor.
The only problem is that Linux rquires a different cable from NT, but
they traded me for free. APC does support Linux, and they're pretty good
with information. I just got my serial cable in, so more on the shutdown
software this weekend.
