I use SWB and i use linux, I didn't have to do anything special, i assume
swb set up that PPPoE because the guy just came over did something to my
jack and said good luck, at first I was only set up as DHCP so all I had
to do is set up DHCP for my nic card, and it worked...ABSOLUTLY NO
PROBLEM...then i decided to get static ips and i had to configure the DSL
modem, which was also easy...you don't even have to set up ppp
anything...it's really easy and moderatly cheap with SWB (from
experience) hence i would go with them...they also offer quite a bit of
support, if you need it, and have patience enough to wait on hold...
