If you're using Donald Becker's drivers, visit his web site for
module arguments to force 100mb hd. If you have Windows on your box,
try setting the card to 100mb hd with the factory 3Com drivers.
I had a problem where the wall jack was flaky, so the card would always
negotiate at 100mb FD, even if I tried to force 10mb hd. Fixing the jack
allowed 100mb fd and even allowed me to force 10mb hd.
