3com.com has a couple driver disks for the 905 cards. on one of the
disks there's a dos executable, 3c90xcfg.exe. copy that to a dos boot
disk, boot and run that program. you can then manually set the card
to 100Mbit, full duplex, yadda yah.
i keep dos boot disks for my old 3coms that have rj45, aui and bnc
connectors for similar reasons.
