hi brandon,
we haven't had a meeting in a long time, this mailing list is really
where most discussion takes place. it's very hard to organize a
meeting inbetween semesters, turnout is usually pretty bad.
when we do meet, we've met in i think Taylor 2.106 - it's a good
general purpose room with multimedia equipment.
we should organize a meeting soon after school starts. it wouldn't be
a bad idea either to print up some flyers and post them to various
bulletin boards around campus - most non-cs students aren't even aware
a student linux group exists.
i found i no longer have access to the host that the siglinux website
is served from, no response from omare yet. once we decide on a time
i'll try to at least update the website.
anyone else have any ideas on meeting soon? or topic ideas? i'll be
just getting back from LinuxWorld and could bring one of the tutorial
booklets that are passed out in the sessions - we could walk through
the tutorial, or other topics suggested in the past have been just
explaining a linux HowTo to the group.
