Have had two of these drives fail on me, one at work in a Sun and
the other on my home machine - both drives within a week of each other.
Both drives were 46.1GB 75GXP units. Giving credit to IBM, they shipped
out a replacement 60GB 60GXP drive within two weeks of mailing the dead
unit in. I also have another machine running on a 30GB 75GXP for more
than a year, no problems.

I have a 40GB 60GXP unit in yet another machine that went weird the
other day... the fix I found on groups.google.com was to shake the drive
vigorously to 'correct' something to do with the auto-parking mechanism...

...maybe they'll get the 120GXP right?
