And what I forget: It does enumerate as High-Speed:

[38210.250060] usb 2-2: new high-speed USB device number 49 using ehci_hcd
[38210.401011] usb 2-2: New USB device found, idVendor=0925, idProduct=3881
[38210.401021] usb 2-2: New USB device strings: Mfr=0, Product=0,
SerialNumber=0

with jumper to EEPROM set. Without the jumper it has the
vendor/product-IDs of the "eval board" (as it should).
