Hi, merged with some changes, thanks a lot! I stashed together some of your commits, dropped unrelated .gitignore changes, split into two independent patches for the DMM parser and the serial-dmm change.
Please (re-)test current git master and check if all modes and ranges work fine etc. I'm sure someone with a PeakTech 3415 will eventually also test the code there. Announce is up here: http://sigrok.org/blog/velleman-dvm4100-support I noticed you mention in the wiki that you have to press the "REL" button to enable USB connectivity (and REL+SELECT to disable auto-poweroff). Isn't that a typo or copy-paste error? The DVM4100 manual says "Hz/%" instead of "REL" as far as I can see.
