That exception is a generic type, indicating that something somewhere
went wrong. The only way to tell is by using a debugger (e.g. GDB),
though using "pulseview -l 5" and looking at the log output may
provide a good clue. If the issue doesn't become obvious to you,
feel free to put the log into a pastebin and send it our way.
