I followed the description on http://sigrok.org/wiki/Mac_OS_X 
<http://sigrok.org/wiki/Mac_OS_X> under the heading “Build using Homebrew”. I 
guess I should have used the first method listed, “Building using a script 
under Homebrew”, which does say that it is the recommended way of building but 
it was not clear from the description that the result would include the gui 
Pulseview, whereas the method I used did state that explicitly.

I would have thought though that since the gui Pulseview needs the 
sigrok-firmware to function properly for at least one device it would have been 
listed in the method I used.

I use only the USBee AX device with Pulseview so I am all set, but possibly 
other new users may not.

I do like the idea of a DMG…

BTW, Pulseview is a fantastic program. Well done!
