Hence, I strongly advice against the DSLogic. I am well aware that
unfortunately, the hardware looks good and offers features a lot
of people are looking for, but people should be aware that when
they buy a DSLogic, they're giving sigrok the middle finger.
hi,
what is about the problem with DreamsSource?
There's no mention of that in sigrok wiki.
with an Openbench Logic Sniffer (open hardware/firmware), a Saanlima
Pipistrello (open hardware/firmware)
Unfortunately the Pipistrello with 64 MB DRAM appear to be discontinued:
http://saanlima.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=69&product_id=51
Seems they sell only the Pepino with 1 MB SRAM (16 channels, max 8
channels @ 200 MHz):
http://saanlima.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=62&product_id=64
but if I understand well the Open Bench Logic Sniffer (70 MHz, 32
channels) use the internal FPGA ram (24 KB) only, so can be reasonable
an external 1 MB, right?
thank you,
Valerio
