Well, I cheated and specified the 500k samplerate in the
archive's metadata before opening it in the application.

In fact I assumed that you were well aware of the trick -- the
".srzip" name and content looked like handcrafted to me. :)
Never got the idea that _not_ having a samplerate would be the
normal condition, after your initial capture must have had one,
and all the import formats support a respective option when the
file content lacks the information. :-]
