Aravind confirmed that the question is solved:
Thaaaanks a lot Raiman !!!
SimpleThreadedXMLRPCServer was preventing the report generation.
Switched back to SimpleXMLRPCServer, in a thread, and it's working
fine.
Currently I'm stopping the scripts using Ctrl+C, though it's not
graceful :-(
