@John ok, now I understand: ~/.java contain the users Java preferences, which in turn contain the Sikuli user preferences. If you delete this file, Sikuli resets the preferences to some default values. On Windows these prefs are stored in the registry and on Mac it is a separate pref file for Sikuli.
with RC3 it ids a known recommendation, to purge the preferences from the system, when having startup problems. with version 1.0.1+ some bugs together with prefs are fixed and the auto-update is switched of anyway. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Sikuli Drivers, which is subscribed to Sikuli. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1016426 Title: Ubuntu 11.04: Sikuli-ide crashes when interacted with Status in Sikuli: Won't Fix Bug description: I've just install Sikuli on a new Ubuntu 11.04 system via it's zip file along with it's needed dependencies. Sikuli-ide starts up as expected. However as soon as I interact with the ide, e.g. select an item in a menu (Open) or even attempt to close the window it freezes \ crashes and becomes completely unresponsive. I'm thinking it might be a dependency issue but as I say I've installed the required ones already. Any help would be brilliant. Cheers!
