New question #255660 on Sikuli:
https://answers.launchpad.net/sikuli/+question/255660
Hi,
I want Sikuli X type in Turkish language. But I have the following two problems
although my operating system is Turkish, and my keyboard is Turkish Q keyboard.
1) I can not use Turkish characters (İ,ı,ü,Ü,Ö,ö,ğ,Ğ,ç,Ç) on "type" function I
get :
[error] script [ tumtipleriyarat ] stopped with error in line 15
[error] java.lang.IllegalArgumentException (
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Cannot convert character )
2) I am calling the following function called alanEkle as follows:
alanEkle("BAYTDIZESI_ALAN","Bayt Diz")
function gets the both variables and writes it in the textboxes. The strange
thing is instead of "Bayt Diz" it writes "Bayt Dız" which is a Turkish
character
I will appreciate if you could help. How can I make a global setting for UTF
encoding or do I have to make a change for all strings on my functions and
variables.
Many thanks
Ceyhun
