I've read a bunch this year, there's been a lot of re-reading (in
particular of William Gibson, in preparation for the serialized TV
version of "The Peripheral", which I've enjoyed overall despite its ...
differences).
Two books that I read for the first time this year and recommend:
"Daemon" by Danial Suarez (and its follow-on, "Freedom") and "Station
Eleven" by Emily St. John Mandel, which I found difficult to finish and
impossible to not finish.
